  • 2 boiled potatoes
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • Fresh green coriander
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp red chili powder
  • 1 tbsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 1 tbsp chili sauce


  • Mash the boiled potatoes and mix them with chopped onion, green coriander, salt, red chili powder, garam masala, chaat masala, and chili sauce. Ensure the mixture is well combined.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine 3 cups of all-purpose flour, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1 tbsp oil. Knead the ingredients into a smooth dough and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  • Divide the dough into 5 equal parts and roll each part into a thin roti.
  • Mix 2 tbsp corn flour with 1 tbsp oil to make a paste. Spread this paste on one roti and place another roti on top. Repeat the process until all rotis are stacked, then flatten the stack with a rolling pin.
  • Spread the corn flour paste on the top roti of the stack and roll it into a log shape. Cut the log into small pieces and flatten each piece with your hands.
  • Place some filling in the center of each flattened piece and cover it with another thin roti. Seal the edges firmly.
  • Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the assembled kachoris on medium to low flame for about 8 minutes or until golden brown.
