  • 500 g chicken, cut into pieces
  • 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 5 medium tomatoes cut in to half1
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp red chili
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp garam masala powder
  • ½ tsp salt or to taste
  • 1 cup water


  • place a pan over medium flame, add chicken, ginger garlic paste, salt, turmeric powder and 1 cup water.
  • cook for a minute and cut the tomatoes in half and spread over the chicken. Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until the tomatoes are soft and peeled off easily.
  • cook for additional 5 minutes or until water are absorbed. add 3 tbsp oil, black cardamom and garam masala. cover and cook for mor 3-5 minutes.
  • remove from the pan and garnish with cilantro, green chili slices,and fresh cream.
  • Serve hot with naan bread, roti, or steamed rice.
